If you know me in real life, you’ll know I wear black; like, a lot. It’s my favourite colour to wear and has been for years. I have been trying to add in a little colour here and there in recent months, but black remains my favourite. It’s timeless and classic. It goes with everything and can be dressed up and down. So, it’s no surprise that I would need a summer LBD.
This particular dress is from H&M and is only $24.99! It’s lightweight, which makes it so nice for summer. In all honesty, I wasn’t initially a fan of the tie-up straps as someone with a large chest, but I have to say, it’s been much more flattering than I thought! I actually like that it’s adjustable and the smocked top makes me feel very secure.
The fabric is very light without being sheer, making it a great spring/summer option. I recently wore it to my sister’s bachelorette lunch with a little cardigan, sandals, and a statement handbag which I think worked really well.
I have been wearing this dress to work as well as around the house. I think it works great for a variety of occasions and for the price, you truly can’t beat it!
