We’re all big fans of asparagus in my family. And, if I can get these boys happily eating a vegetable, I go with it! My air fryer asparagus is always a hit and makes a lovely addition to spring recipes. It’s foolproof, delicious, and so easy to make. Wilted asparagus is never good, but it can be hard to not overcook it, in my opinion. But, with this recipe, it’s cooked to perfection every time and with very minimal effort. Once you try it, I’m sure you won’t go back to cooking it any other way!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
Not only is this recipe super quick and easy to make, it tastes incredible. The asparagus is cooked to perfection every time and it involves barely any effort.
Ingredients
An average-size bunch of asparagus
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
salt + pepper, to taste
How to Make Air Fryer Asparagus
Chop the ends off your asparagus so that they will fit comfortably in the bottom of your air fryer and add to a medium sized bowl.
Add in the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the asparagus is evenly coated.
Transfer to your air fry and bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
How to Serve
Asparagus goes well with a variety of dishes and the possibilities are endless! We have been enjoying ours lately with salmon and rice or barbecued chicken and potatoes. I think it would go nicely in a pasta dish or alongside a steak dinner too, though.
How to Store
We typically eat it all at one mealtime, which I would recommend to preserve freshness.
