If you’re looking for a hearty meal to feed your family this week; you have to try my Chicken Parmesan Casserole! It’s so delicious and is a total hit every time I make it. And, as a family of three, we’re always left with leftovers. This makes me happy as they make a great lunch for the following day (or two).
I have made this where I’ve made my own homemade chicken nuggets, and when I’ve used frozen nuggets. Honestly, both are tasty and it really depends on how much time I have to be in the kitchen. In the interest of sharing a quick recipe that’s ideal for busy weeknights; I’m going to share how I make them with pre-made chicken nuggets. But, perhaps soon I’ll share the recipe for my homemade chicken nuggets, as they’re a hit around here too!
I start off by cooking my pasta according to the directions on the box and setting aside. I then cook the chicken nuggets according to the directions on the box. Once the pasta and the chicken are done cooking, I put them both into a casserole dish. I then mix in a jar of marinara sauce, and top with 2 cups of shredded mozzarella, 1/2 a cup of shredded parmesan, and a little oregano. Everything gets baked at 375ºF for 30-40 minutes uncovered.
