Last week I shared some of my favourite fall fashion trends for the season ahead and this week I thought it would be fun to share some of my favourite fall beauty trends for 2024.
When I first got into blogging years ago, I was mainly in the beauty space. I shared a lot of tutorials and product reviews. My life has changed a lot since then, and food/lifestyle content feels more authentic to where I am now. But, I am still a lover of all things makeup and skincare, so you can still expect to see a bit of that sprinkled in from time to time.
The fall beauty trends for 2024 that I’m noticing so far have me very happy. They are all trends I love and I think you will too!
Cool Toned Makeup Looks
When I discovered that cool toned makeup suited my skin better, it was life changing. This trend may not suit everyone, but I for one am happy it keeps showing up! I think we often think of warm makeup looks when it comes to fall so I’m excited to see this switch up. Really warm makeup looks can make me look sick so it’s nice to see cool tones having their moment.
Boho Waves
I typically think of summer beauty when I think of boho waves, but they’re really having a moment this fall (which I’m not mad about). As someone with natural waves, I’m saving a lot of time in the morning!
90s Grunge Smoky Eye
Admittedly my least favourite trend on the list, this is a fun one to try for a date night or girls’ night out. A good pencil liner and some smoky shadows are all you need to create this edgy makeup look.
Cranberry Lips
Cranberry hues are so pretty this time of year and I’m excited to see this trend popping up a lot. I love a deeper lip for fall and the cranberry hue is something a little bit different. I think this trend will be universally flattering and one everyone can enjoy!
Flushed Cheeks
I have always been a blush girl. It’s been an essential makeup product for me since I started wearing makeup. I remember years ago no one understood why I loved it quite so much, but people have been starting to come around for a while now. Flushed cheeks continue to be a beauty trend this fall, and naturally I’m very happy about it. I think flushed cheeks really brighten up my complexion and elevate my makeup looks. This is one trend I was wearing long before it was trendy and I will be wearing long after it’s no longer trendy.
