Fall is officially here and I am SO happy about it, This week we’ve had some cooler temps and cloudy/rainy forecasts which are really making it feel like fall. I have officially put my sandals away and have dug out my knit sweaters. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good sundress, but fall/winter clothes are much more exciting to me. Today I’m going to be rounding up some of my favourite fall fashion trends for 2024! I was pleasantly surprised that I had quite a few of these trends in my closet already, meaning I didn’t need much to update my wardrobe for the season. Here is a quick look at six of my favourites:
Denim
Denim for fall isn’t exactly groundbreaking, but we’re seeing a lot of wide leg jeans and even dresses, which I think is really fun! I’m personally still on the hunt for the right denim (I can’t let my skinny jeans go) but I’m really loving this trend. It’s super flattering and denim is very versatile.
Ballet Flats
As a tall girl, I’m excited to see ballet flats making a comeback this fall. I think they’re so fun and feminine. They’re comfortable and go with lots of different looks as well, which I especially love.
Cropped Jackets
This is another trend I have yet to add to my wardrobe for fall but something that we’re seeing a lot of. These jackets come in all sorts of fabrics and colours, so you can very easily make this trend your own.
Leopard Print
Animal prints in general are having a moment this fall, but leopard print is without a doubt my favourite. I have some fun leopard print accessories that I’m excited to break out now that fall is officially upon us.
Pop of Red
This is such a fun trend in my opinion and very easy to pull off! A red purse, a pair of red shoes, or even a red lipstick can be a simple way to sport this trend without spending a fortune. Red is so flattering and such a great seasonal colour.
Luxurious Knits
Knits are one of my favourite things about fall, so it’s a no-brainer that luxurious knits are on my radar. They’re soft, stylish, and practical. I personally love H&M for knitwear.
