It has been a very special week in our home with lots of fun moments. Our son turned two, which was the main highlight. I am still in disbelief but I love watching him grow and learn. I’m very excited for the next year! Here are some happy little things from my week:
Dinners Outside
Our balcony makeover is just about finished and we have really been enjoying having dinners out there when the weather allows it. They’re slower, more relaxing, and so lovely.
Alpacas (and goats)
For H’s birthday, we took him to an alpaca farm, which was so fun! We got to feed them and learn more about them. The farm also had the cutest little dwarf goats! It was so nice being outside in the company of sweet animals. We had a great time and definitely want to do more things like that in the coming months!
Nonnas
Cole and I recently watched Nonnas on Netflix (in two sittings, because #parentlife) and it was SO good! It’s based on a true story (which we typically love) and the acting was really good too. We both really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it if you haven’t watched it.
Toddler Singing
I have sung “You Are my Sunshine” to H since he was a baby and just this week he has started singing along with me! It’s the cutest thing ever and makes my heart melt every time. He also started singing “Happy Birthday” after his own birthday this week which is super cute too.
Strawberry Basil Lemonade
My sister and I had a girls’ night this week where she made us homemade strawberry basil lemonade. It was so delicious, not to mention beautiful. I’m still thinking about it and can’t wait to make some this summer!
