Fun fact: I actually used to be a beauty blogger years ago. I loved it so much and blogging about beauty is something I would still like to do here from time to time. My beauty routine has changed quite a lot since becoming a mom, but beauty is still something that brings me joy.
I have a more minimal approach these days and have recently become quite interested in clean beauty products. I have not yet made the switch entirely, but I am focused on finding clean replacements as I need them.
My Latest Beauty Obsession
My latest beauty obsession is from Merit. I see so many lovely things about them online and it seems like a brand I would really like. I decided to start with their Shade Slick Classic Hydrating Tinted Lip Oil in “Taupe” and I’m so glad I did. This lip oil was all that I was hoping for. It’s hydrating and comfortable to wear, gives a beautiful yet subtle tint to the lips, and is long lasting. I love the way it looks and feels. The glass bottle and gold details give it a super luxurious feel and I now want every shade they make! If you’re looking for a minimal effort lip that is comfortable and makes you feel more put together, you will love this!

I have loved this toner for years! As someone who has dealt with acne and texture since her preteen years, this stuff is a lifesaver. It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin, is super affordable, and helps clear up my skin. It also helps give my skin a nice glow, which is always appreciated.
Caudalie Instant Detox Mask
This is another skincare product I have loved for years. It always helps clear up my skin and feels so luxurious on the skin. The gentle scent is relaxing and my skin always starts to look better within a couple days of using this mask.
Glossier You Eau de Parfum
This has been my everyday scent since the new year. I love it! With notes of pink pepper and iris, this scent is warm and subtly spicy. It is actually designed to smell differently on anyone who wears it, making it a unique scent for all. I am obsessed and it has become my go-to.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush
This is another product I have loved for years. My current go-to shade is “Captivating”, which is a beautiful peachy hue. This blush is long-lasting and easy to apply. Blush has always been one of my favourite makeup products and this is one of my all-time favourites.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Cream Eyeshadows
I think I have most shades at this point. These cream shadows are so good! There is such a beautiful shade range. They apply easy, are long lasting, and are quick to apply as well which is perfect for those busy mornings!
