A classic alfredo sauce is something every home chef should have in their repertoire, in my opinion. It’s a staple and actually so easy to make! Whether you’re having dinner guests and are wanting to impress, or are just looking for a simple, quick dinner that everyone will eat and enjoy, homemade alfredo always makes a great option!
In a saucepan, start off by bringing some chicken broth to a simmer. Next, stir in your heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes before adding in your shredded parmesan. Mix that in thoroughly and let melt for 5-10 minutes.
Once it’s done, pour on top of a pound of cooked pasta, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy!
