Classic Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups parmesan, shredded
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a simmer.
  • Once at a simmer, mix in the heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the parmesan, and let simmer another 5-10 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce over a pound of cooked pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
