I love a simple dinner recipe for busy weeknights and that’s where this easy oven baked salmon recipe comes into play. It’s a recipe I have been making for years now and is one I am leaning on a lot during this busy season of life.

Ingredients

Salmon fillets, as many as needed
Lemon slices, 1 per fillet
asparagus, 8-10 spears per fillet with ends chopped off
salt, pepper, and garlic powder, to taste

How to Make Easy Oven Baked Salmon

Preheat the oven to 425ºF.

In a piece of foil, place the salmon fillet, asparagus spears, lemon slice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in the middle. Fold the foil up loosely and place on a baking sheet.

Repeat until all salmon fillets are wrapped in foil.

Bake for 16-18 minutes.

Unwrap and serve with your favourite rice.

This recipe is really simple yet delicious for an easy spring dinner. It can easily be altered to accommodate small or large families too, which is really nice. The fresh flavours are extra delicious this time of year and this is easily one of our favourite dinner recipes!

We will pan-fry salmon from time to time, but I do really like how I can just throw the salmon into the oven for exactly 18 minutes without having to keep checking on how it’s cooking.
