Cheeseburger Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/8 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a frying pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, ground beef, salt, onion powder, and 1 tsp. of garlic powder. Cook until browned.
  • Next, assemble the burger sauce. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, and the other tsp. of garlic powder. Mix until well combined and set aside.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom on the baking sheet.
  • Evenly spread the burger sauce over the buns.
  • Once the ground beef is done cooking, add it to the buns evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheese and put the tops of the buns on.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and oregano. Brush the mixture over the tops of the sliders and sprinkle on the sesame seeds.
  • Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
  • Pull apart and enjoy!
