Peach Crisp

Peach Crisp

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Ahh, peach season is finally upon us! I’m an autumn girl through and through, but peach season always gets me excited. They’re one of my favourite fruits and I find myself adding them to all sorts of things this time of year. One of my favourite summer dessert recipes is for this peach crisp!

It’s sweet, juicy, and full of flavour. It’s really simple to make and only requires a few ingredients; making it my go-to dessert to make in a pinch!

To make the peach crisp, you’ll start off by dicing up five or six peaches and placing them in an oven-safe pie plate. In a medium sized bowl, mix together the melted butter, rolled oats, flour, cinnamon, and brown sugar until crumbly. Then, put the crumble on top of the peaches and press down until they’re all covered. Simply bake for 40-45 minutes and let cool at least ten minutes before serving.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 peaches, diced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Place the diced peaches in an oven-safe pie plate and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and rolled oats until crumbly.
  • Place crumbly mixture on top of peaches and press down, covering all of the peaches.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving.

This recipe is so delicious and is a great way to use up any extra peaches you have laying around. While it’s great on its own warm or cold, it’s even better paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Talk about the perfect summer indulgence!
